Wednesday 15th August, 6-9 pm. Hi, my name is Claire and I am hosting this jam-packed family event in Rowallane Community Hub, 35 Main Street, Saintfield, to fund-raise for a once in a lifetime trip to Croatia to volunteer in a hospital, shadowing trained nurses and doctors in a profession I aspire to join. I would love to see you all here to support local businesses, artists and crafters!
Star Wars characters will be making an appearance at The Hub’s Christmas Market, which is part of Saintfield Christmas Fair on Friday 1st December. The action starts at 6:30, so don’t miss the hottest venue in Saintfield!
Rowallane Community Hub will be having its annual Christmas Market on the evening of Saintfield Christmas Fair (Friday 1st Dec). If you would like to have a stall at the market an application form can be downloaded via ” “Make A Booking”
The Events committee of the Saintfield Development Association is holding a free Food and Wine Taster at The Hub on Saturday 19th August.
The Taster will be held for an hour from 3.00pm to 4.00pm in The Hub at 35 Main Street, Saintfield.
The outlets which will be offering free tastings of samples from their menus are The White Horse Inn, Saints Cafe, Chutney Joe, Fish 2 Fry and Rockmount golf club. Winemark, a new business in Saintfield, will be hosting a wine tasting.
All are welcome to come along and sample what is on offer.
This is intended as a pilot scheme and if successful it is hoped to expand the event in future years and make it a showcase for what Saintfield and the surrounding area has to offer in the way of food and drink.
