Rowallane Community Hub will be having its annual Christmas Market on the evening of Saintfield Christmas Fair (Friday 2nd Dec) and during the Saintfield Christmas Santa Charity Ride (Saturday 3rd Dec).

Rowallane Community Hub recently took part in Macmillan’s Biggest Coffee Morning and helped to raise £588.
A big thank you goes to the local businesses that provided ballot prizes and to those who helped with the coffee morning.
Prizes were kindly donated by Beechill Pet Supplies, Scentsations, The White Horse Inn Saintfield, Masseys of Saintfield, Jacksons of Saintfield, Saintfield Service Station, Gordon’s Chemist, Tates Treasures, Chutney Joe and Top Floor Art.
Thank you to all that attended and purchased ballots, also to those who purchased ballots but were unable to attend. It would not have been such a success without you.
Drop in to The Hub on Saturday 15th October from 10:00 – 13:00 and help Macmillan Cancer Support.

Volunteers at the Rowallane Hub recently underwent a Fire Management Training course run by Fire Defence (NI) Ltd. of Hillsborough.
The morning began with a theory session which covered:
Legislation
The Principles of Combustion
Fire Procedures
The Role of a Fire Warden
Fire Extinguishers
Reducing the Risk
This was followed by an outdoor session where the volunteers gained practical experience of using various types of fire extinguishers.
